Lord of the Flies - Review

Quick note: my intent is not to post a lot of review articles, as this is not really intended to be a "review site". It's my own personal site, home to many types of posts. However, my plan is to write reviews on thnigs I think are personally interesting, horrible, funny or otherwise noteworthy to myself. My reviews are not comprehensive and they are filled to the brim with opinions. Keep that in mind!

The Approach

I've always heard of Lord of the Flies, since around middle-school I want to say. People had spoken well of it, perhaps not necessarily singing it's praises, but it was universally spoken of as "a classic".

Needless to say, this elevated it's category to the realms of a "must read" in my mind. Especially since it continued to float in and out of conversations through the years, always reminding itself of it's own importance to my consceince. It was with these expectations I came to the book. It was funny to find that the book was so tiny, easy to lose amidst the presence of heaftier tomes.
